【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversperformancerequirementsforhelmetsusedbyshorttrackspeediceskaters(excludinghockey).Thisspecificationrecognizesthedesirabilityoflightweightconstructionandventilation;however,itisaperformancestandardandisnotintendedtorestrictdesign.AlltestingandrequirementsofthisspecificationshallbeinaccordancewithTestMethodsF1446,exceptwherenotedherein.Partialutilizationofthisspecificationisprohibited.Anystatementofcompliancewiththisspecificationmustbeacertificationthattheheadgearmeetsalloftherequirementsofthespecificationintheirentirety.Aheadgearthatfailstomeetanyoneoftherequirementsofthisspecificationisconsideredtohavefailedthespecification,andshallnotbesoldwithanyindicationthatitmeetspartsofthespecification.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
