【摘要】:ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandardspecifiestheEnhancedCommunicationsTransportProtocol(ECTP),whichisatransportprotocoltosupportInternetmulticastapplicationsoverthemulticast-capableIPnetworks.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandardspecifiestheECTPpart3(ECTP-3)fortheduplexmulticasttransportconnectioninwhichtheparticipantsareclassifiedintooneTC-OwnerandmanyTS-users.Theduplexmulticasttransportconnectionsupportstwokindsofdatatransport:themulticastdatatransportfromTC-ownertoalltheotherTS-usersandtheunicastdatatransportfromTS-userstoTC-Owner.ATS-userisallowedtosendunicastdatatoTC-Owner,onlyifitgetsatokenfromTC-Owner.ThisSpecificationdescribestheprotocolforsupportingtheduplexmulticasttransport,whichincludestheconnectionmanagement(establishment,termination,pause,resumption,userjoinandleave)andthereliabilitycontrolmechanismsforthemulticastandunicastdatatransport.Inparticular,theprotocoloperationsforthemulticastdatatransportfromTC-OwnertotheTS-userswillbedesignedwiththecongruencyofthesimplexmulticasttransportprotocol(ECTP-1),asspecifiedinITU-TRec.X.606|ISO/IEC14476-1.
