【摘要】:Themoisturecontentofmostcorematerialsisrelatedtosuchpropertiesaselectricalproperties(suchasdielectricconstant,losstangent,andelectricalresistance)andmechanicalproperties(suchasstrengthandmodulus).Theamountofweightthestructuremaygainbythecoreabsorbingwaterisalsoimportant.Itshouldbenotedthatinasandwichpaneltherearefacingsbondedontwosidesofthecorethataffecttheamountofwaterabsorbedbythecore.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftherelativeamountofwaterabsorptionbyvarioustypesofstructuralcorematerialswhenimmersedorinahighrelativehumidityenvironment.Thistestmethodisintendedtoapplytoonlystructuralcorematerials;honeycomb,foam,andbalsawood.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgivenmaybeapproximate.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
