【摘要】:Theabilityofcoatingstowithstandwearcausedbyrepeatedcleaningoperationsandtoresistpermanentblemishingbystainsisanimportantconsiderationbothfromapracticalpointofviewandwhencomparingandratingsuchcoatings.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesanacceleratedmethodforthedeterminationofwet-scrubresistance.Withregardtothecleanabilityofcoatings,onlythemethoditselfandnotthesoilingagentsarespecified.NOTE—Sincethesepropertiesdependnotonlyonthequalityofacoatingbutalsoonthesubstrate,themethodofapplication,thedryingconditionsandotherfactors,theresultsobtainedarenotdirectlytransferabletoactualpractice.Inthisstandardtheevaluationofthecoatingisbasedonadefinedsubstrate,afixedapplicationmethod,specifieddryingconditionsandadefinedmethodofwetscrubbing.
