【摘要】:Thismethodisfordeterminingthedistillationrangeofheavypetroleumoils.Itisapplicabletopetroleumproductswhoseboilingrangeextendsabovethatofkerosine,e.g.,crude,gasandfueloils.ThemethoddiffersfromASTMD86inthata200-mLflaskisusedandthedistillationapparatusisgas-fired.Cokeresidueisdeterminedfromaseparatedistillationthatiscontinuedpastthethermaldecompositionpoint.Thetestisparticularlyusefulinestimatinggasoline,kerosineand/ordistillatecontent,andthecokingcharacteristicsoftheseoils.
